Corey Cassaw

Hi there, my name is Corey Cassaw and I am a graphic & web designer/artist/photographer living in Kansas City, MO.
I currently work at VML, a leading interactive advertising agency as an Art Director. At VML I get the opportunity to work on large scale web design projects for top-tier companies. In my 'free' time I am always looking to take on freelance work to stretch my creative wings.

Background
I graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2002 with my BFA in Graphic Design. From there I began my career on the corporate side as the Graphic Designer for Sizewise Rentals and was there for 2 years. From there I joined the good folks at ER Marketing, where I further honed my creative skills and learned from the marketing guru principals for three years. I joined the VML team in January of 2008.
Other Interests

I have always had an interest in art (most likely because my mother is an art teacher and it was instilled in me at an early age), but I didn't realize that I wanted to pursue a career in art until my senior year of high school, when it occured to me that I was in the art room 4 out of my 5 classes a day, which led me to my college choice of FHSU, which has an excellent art & design program.

Today I still love to paint and am working on building my body of work up enough to have a show (hopefully in 2009!). I also am a huge sports nut and love playing and watching sports of all kinds.
